I specialize in reactive dog training in Anchorage and behavior consults for aggression and anxiety, using Least Inhibitive, Functionally Effective (LIFE)-aligned methods, which adhere to the Ethics Policy of the Animal Behavior Society.

I am a dedicated professional with formal education in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington and a deep commitment to helping people understand and work with their dogs—especially those facing serious behavioral challenges. My approach is rooted in evidence-based, humane behavior modification methods that respect the dog’s emotional well-being while addressing the concerns of their human companions.

I know what it feels like to live with a dog whose behavior turns your world upside down.
Years ago, I shared my life with a puppy who became a human-aggressive dog. I sought help from multiple trainers, but none offered solutions that truly worked, or treated my dog with the compassion she deserved. That experience changed everything for me.

I committed myself to learning the science of dog behavior, earning a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior, then working toward a Masters degree in Animal Behavior, and dedicating my career to helping people and their dogs overcome challenges like fear, reactivity, and anxiety. Today, I use evidence-based, humane methods to guide both ends of the leash toward understanding, trust, and a calmer, happier life together.

No one should feel alone when facing a dog’s behavioral struggles. I’m here to help you and your dog find a way forward—together.
